In 2010, Milton Bradley will be celebrating the 50th anniversary of Reuben Klamer’s The Game of Life. The rules have not changed since its inception in 1960, yet the world has undergone a massive technological transformation. It is through Port City Technology Solutions that we hope to equip students and professionals, young and old alike, with the tools necessary to excel in the rapidly evolving marketplace. In this land of unequaled opportunity, scores of students find themselves lacking in the resources they need to ensure a successful academic career. As for the professional men and women entering, or re-entering the job force, most are hard-pressed to keep up with the changing technological tide. Our technical expertise will help bridge this ever-expanding chasm. We believe that we can accomplish this by offering low-cost, high-quality service and sales of refurbished laptops and desktop units for both the PC and Mac platforms. By diversifying our product base and keeping our expenses in check, we can offer technology alternatives at a fraction of the cost of local and internet retailers. With such affordable solutions, in addition to complimentary software consultations and lifetime support, we will quickly become the one-stop source for all of Maine’s technological needs. Personally speaking, I wish there was this type of service available to me when I began my post-secondary education, or even when I entered the work force. I know what it’s like to lack the resources necessary to excel, and it is my fervent desire that we at Port City Technology Solutions use the skills and tools we have amassed to help other individuals conquer The Game of Life.
