Released 11/5/09The Portland Community Chorus will present its traditional holiday concert on Friday December 4th at 7:30 pm and Saturday December 5th at 2 pm at the Scarborough High School auditorium.
The 131 member chorus has singers from 29 Maine towns. Under the leadership of Rob Westerberg, the Portland Community Chorus will perform a variety of holiday music, including Olde English carols and other fun surprises. Westerberg is currently a member of the music faculty at York High School where he teaches chorus, musical theory, beginner keyboard, and musical theater. He has been conducting the PCC for the past five years.
Tickets are $12. in advance and $15 at the door, and are available at Starbird Music in Portland, calling 839-7070, or emailing jnaomi@maine.rr.com. Also visit www.PortlandCommunityChorus.org for more information.
