New York Couple Arrives with Family and Friends for Saturday, June 20th 2009 Wedding

Sebasco Estates, Maine (June 19, 2009) – Sebasco Harbor Resort today announced it will host the wedding of Katie Berry and Brendan Bayer of Rochester, NY on June 20th 2009. Ms. Berry and Mr. Bayer were selected as the winners of a contest held last year to receive a destination wedding at Sebasco Harbor Resort. The weekend long package includes a romantic ceremony on the grounds, reception, overnight accommodations and spa services for the bride and groom, a golf outing and a rehearsal celebration sunset cruise aboard Sebasco’s touring boat, The Ruth.

Last year, dozens of couples submitted a brief video essay introducing who they are, how they met, and why they would like to win a Pure Maine Wedding at Sebasco Harbor Resort.

“Winning the Wedding Giveaway was like a dream,” laughs Katie Berry of Rochester, New York. “It really didn’t seem real at the time, but now its here and I can’t wait!”

Since the couple lives out of state, the couple relied heavily on the expertise of Sebasco’s wedding planner Melissa Carosi to coordinate much of the local services for the event.

“What my job is all about,” says Melissa, “is making sure that when the special day comes, Katie and Brendan and their families and friends can all relax, appreciate the moment, and have fun and create those wonderful memories together. That’s what we’re all about!”
