Released 1/31/06Friendly’s Restaurant on Maine Mall Road is inviting you to come out for an evening of good fun for a good cause. For one night only – Tuesday, February 7th from 5:00 to 8:00 PM – 25% of every guest’s total check will go to benefit Easter Seals Maine! It’s all part of Friendly’s Family Fun Night and there will be plenty of special guests there to help celebrate.
WGME Channel 13’s Daybreak Anchor John Hopperstad and Meteorologist Sarah Long will be there along with Sports Director Dave Eid to act as “Celebrity Scoopers”. They will by challenging players from the Portland Pirates to see who can raise the most money for the “Cones For Kids” Campaign.
Family Fun Nights are part of Friendly’s annual “Cones For Kids” campaign which has been a winter tradition up and down the East Coast since 1981. Each year, employees across the restaurant chain help change the lives of thousands of children and adults with disabilities. Last year the Friendly’s restaurants in Maine raised more than $60,000 to help children right here in Maine, and this year they have pledged to raise $100,000 before the campaign ends on February 14th – Valentines Day 2006!
Be sure to stop by Friendly’s on Maine Mall Road in South Portland on Tuesday, February 7th between 5:00 and 8:00 PM and be part of the fun!
